Al Qudra Lakes and Love Lake: Barbecues, Dogs, Cycle Track

Al Qudra Lakes are a cluster of man-made lakes in the Saih Al Salam desert, including Love Lake with its two heart-shaped lakes. Visit Dubai says barbecues are allowed if you bring your own equipment and use a container rather than lighting a fire on the sand, per the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, and dogs are allowed if you clean up after them.

The Al Qudra Cycle Track has 86 km of bike path with a 50 km main loop; bikes can be rented. Visit Dubai says the best way there is by car or taxi; the parking area has toilets, bike rental, a petrol station and the Last Exit food trucks, and the compacted sand takes a regular car.

Al Qudra Lakes — frequently asked questions

Are barbecues allowed at Al Qudra Lakes?

Yes. Visit Dubai, citing the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, says to bring your own equipment, use a container instead of lighting a fire on the sand, and clean up afterwards.

Are dogs allowed at Al Qudra?

Yes, with no restriction on bringing pets, provided you clean up after them.

How long is the Al Qudra Cycle Track?

86 km of bike path in total, with a 50 km main loop that can be ridden in either direction.

Can I reach Al Qudra Lakes by public transport?

Visit Dubai says the best way is by car or taxi. A regular car is fine because the sand is highly compacted.

Is there parking at Al Qudra Lakes?

Toilets, bike rental, a petrol station and the Last Exit food-truck area. Parking tariffs in Dubai are set by the operator and change without notice.

Where can I read reviews of Al Qudra Lakes?

Not here. This page publishes what the operator publishes about itself — hours, prices, contact details, and where it publishes none of those, that too — and no opinions, ratings or reviews of any kind. For what visitors say, the venue’s own Google Maps listing carries reviews from people who have actually been. Our editorial policy explains why we keep the two apart.

Is Love Lake Dubai the same as Al Qudra Lakes?

Yes. Al Qudra Lakes is also written as Love Lake Dubai, Al Qudra Lake and Al Qudra Cycle Track. They all refer to the same venue described on this page.

When were these Al Qudra Lakes details last checked?

Every opening time, price and contact detail on this page was checked against Al Qudra Lakes’s own published sources on 1 October 2026. The sources used are listed at the foot of the page, and where the venue publishes nothing we say so rather than filling the gap. If something here is out of date, tell us — we re-check it against the venue’s own source and record the change in our corrections log.
