3 September 2026 — XLine Dubai Marina has reopened

We published XLine Dubai Marina as temporarily closed, quoting the operator’s own notice. On re-checking the same day, that notice is no longer on X Dubai’s site and the zipline is listed at AED 699 with a live booking link. The page has been rewritten to say it is bookable. X Dubai published no reopening announcement, so we are recording the removal of the notice rather than a reopening date it never gave. This is the failure mode a closures page has to own: being right about a closure and then slow about the reopening is still being wrong.

3 September 2026 — full review of all 84 venues

Every venue page was re-checked against the operator’s own website. The corrections below are grouped by how serious they were for a reader acting on them.

Venues published as open that are closed

Palm Monorail	The page said the monorail had reopened after maintenance. The operator’s own site states: “Monorail service is temporarily suspended until further notice due to maintenance.” The page now leads with that and gives the alternatives. A fare was also wrong: any-station-to-any-station is AED 35, not AED 25.
Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park	Both pages listed bookable prices with no mention that the parks are shut. The operator states both are temporarily closed with the hotel still open, and publishes no reopening date.
XLine Dubai Marina	Published as running daily sessions. The operator’s notice reads “XLine Dubai is temporarily closed while we level up the experience.”

Prices taken from resellers and presented as official

Five Iron Golf	Four dirham rates were sourced to Platinumlist while the page described it as the venue’s official booking platform. The operator publishes no rate card at all; the page now says so.
Loco Bear	Four named passes at dirham prices, again from a reseller. The operator prices in credits, two of those passes do not exist as products, and the AED 299 figure was a promotion that had already expired.

Wrong figures

Gigi Rigolatto	The published menu belonged to a different restaurant entirely, item for item. Rebuilt from the operator’s own current menu PDF.
Three Cuts	Two steak prices were transposed: the Tomahawk is AED 950 and the sharing platter AED 1,500. The figure published for the platter, 800, was its weight in grams.
Deep Dive Dubai	Non-certified scuba was listed at AED 1,200 against the operator’s AED 1,800, freediving at AED 900 against AED 1,100, and the children’s prices and age bands were wrong. A depth-by-depth description of the pool was removed: the operator publishes no such layout.
Kokoro	Opening hours wrong, a phone number published that appears nowhere on the operator’s site, and six menu prices out by AED 5 to 20.
Glitch	Activities were given as AED 20–50. The operator publishes AED 10–60.
Skydive Dubai	The age rule was given as 18 with no upper limit; the operator states 18–75. The walk-in waiting list was described as carrying an AED 300 booking fee; it is free, and AED 300 is charged only if you are selected.
Atlantis The Royal	A restaurant was listed that is at a different hotel, and the contact email was one the operator does not publish.
Viva La Goa	The published email address had one letter wrong, so mail to it would not arrive.
The Market Island Food Hall	Weekday closing time was an hour late.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Library	Corporate membership was given as a range; the library publishes three specific tiers, including a non-profit rate the page had omitted.

Claims attributed to a source that did not contain them

These were the most common error and, for a site whose whole promise is sourcing, the most damaging. In each case the fact was presented as coming from the operator and was not there.

Removed entirely	The Cheesecake Factory’s branch email; free EV charging at Dubai Hills Mall; free parking at Real Madrid World; a named car park at Amaya; the ownership of Markette; Armani Caffé’s email, on a domain that does not resolve; La Maison Ani’s placement in Fashion Avenue and its named chef; free valet at Ibn Battuta Mall; on-site parking at African Queen and Sakhalin; a free-child promotion at Madame Tussauds attributed to the wrong page; the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk’s free access, whose cited source returns a 404.
Re-attributed	Where the fact was true but the source named was wrong, the correct source replaced it — for example The Dubai Fountain being free to watch, which Emaar does state, but not on the page previously cited.
Sources removed	A news agency cited for Dubai Creek Harbour, a newspaper cited for The Viewing Point, and reseller listings on two pages. None meet this site’s sourcing rules.

Claims that could not be verified

IMG Worlds of Adventure	The operator’s site returns no readable text and its ticket subdomain blocks automated access, so its prices could not be re-confirmed. They were left in place and the page says plainly that they are the one set of figures on this site not confirmed on 3 September 2026.
Three Cuts	The operator’s menu prints its A5 wagyu ribeye at a price far below its other wagyu cuts. It is published exactly as printed, with a note to confirm with the restaurant.
Real Madrid World	A previous claim that the park was closed on specific September dates was removed: the operator publishes hours only through an interactive picker that returns no data, so neither the claim nor its opposite can be sourced.

Also 3 September 2026 — found while adding menus

Extending the menus turned up a second round of errors, including two of our own. Both of ours are listed first, because a corrections log that only records other people’s mistakes is a marketing page.

Our errors

Sufret Maryam

We inferred dietary information we had no business inferring. The page carried a list of dishes described as plant-based “read from the listed ingredients”. It included the Labneh Plate, which is dairy, and Hummus, which the same menu also sells as Hummus Bel Lahme — showing the kitchen finishes it with meat. Both lists were removed. Nothing on this site now carries a dietary label the restaurant itself did not print, and the reasoning is set out on the vegetarian page.

La Maison Ani

The page argued carefully, from The Dubai Mall’s directory, that the restaurant is not in Fashion Avenue, publishes no hours and names no chef. The restaurant runs its own site, which states all three. We had not looked for it. The operator’s own site outranks a directory listing, so the page was corrected and the hours added.

Errors in what venues publish

TOTÓ	Its menu prints the vegetarian code beside Vitello Tonnato, which its own description on the same page calls thinly sliced veal with a creamy tuna sauce. We reproduce the other five vegetarian marks and not that one, and say so on the page rather than passing over it.
Din Tai Fung	Its own menu page marks several dishes both “Vegetarian” and “Chicken” or “Oyster Sauce”. Because the marking system is demonstrably unreliable on that page, no dish from it is marked here at all.
Al Safadi	Its published “Vegan Menu” section contains meat dishes. It is reproduced under the heading the restaurant gives it, with a note saying it cannot be relied on.

Sources upgraded

Mall of the Emirates now carries a full parking tariff — free to four hours, then AED 20 rising to AED 150 past eight hours, AED 350 overnight — published by Parkin, the operator of that car park. No guide had it, because Parkin’s public site renders nothing to a reader without JavaScript. Dubai Hills Mall still has none: Parkin publishes fee tables for thirteen Dubai locations and that mall is not one of them, so the page now records a checked absence rather than an unexplained one.

Earlier corrections

During the site’s rebuild, three location errors carried over from its previous version were found and fixed: SuperPark is at City Centre Mirdif, not Mall of the Emirates; La Maison Ani is in The Dubai Mall, not at Bulgari; and The Viewing Point is at Dubai Creek Harbour, not Downtown.
