About

About Dubai Trip Guide

Dubai Trip Guide publishes verified practical details for venues in Dubai: opening hours, ticket prices, menus with current AED prices, parking rates and contact numbers. It is an independent publication, edited by Dan-Ionuț Ciobanu. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or paid by any venue, hotel group, tourism board or booking platform.

Why this site exists

Most of what people search for before visiting a restaurant or an attraction in Dubai is not inspiration. It is logistics: what time does it close, what does parking cost, is there a validation, what is on the menu and what does it cost, what is the phone number. That information is scattered, often out of date, and frequently wrong on the aggregator sites that rank for it.

The failure mode is specific and it is worth naming. An aggregator copies a price once, ranks for it, and never checks it again. A listicle promises “the 30 best brunches in Dubai” and invents day, time and price for the twenty-five venues that never published any. Neither tells you when it last looked. This site does one thing instead: it publishes what the venue itself states, says plainly when the venue states nothing, and dates every page.

How the facts get checked

Every claim is traced to a source the venue itself controls, and pages that cannot be sourced say so rather than filling the gap. In the September 2026 review this meant removing ticket prices that had been taken from a reseller and presented as official, deleting an entire menu that belonged to a different restaurant, and replacing several “free entry” claims with the honest statement that the operator publishes no price either way. Those corrections are listed on the corrections log, and the rules behind them are set out in the editorial policy.

It also means this site sometimes tells you less than a competitor does. Where an operator contradicts itself — and several in Dubai do, on their own websites — both versions are published rather than one being quietly chosen for you.

Where else we publish

Dubai Trip Guide posts the same verified details, and the corrections, on its own channels. These are the only accounts we run — anything else using the name is not us.

How to reach us

Write to contact@dubaitripguide.com. Corrections are read and acted on: tell us a price or an opening time here is wrong and we re-check it against the venue’s own source, then update the verification date on that page. It is the same address venues use to send us updated menus and hours.

How we work

Our sourcing and correction rules are set out in full in our editorial policy. How the site makes money is set out in our advertising and affiliate disclosure.
