Dubai annual passes: the break-even nobody prints
An annual pass sounds like the obvious saving and usually is not. Of the passes Dubai attractions publish, one clearly beats two visits — the Dubai Aquarium’s at AED 500 against AED 538 for two Gold tickets. Most of the rest need three to four and a half visits before they break even, and the cheapest tiers of two of them are blacked out on exactly the days you would want to use them.

The break-even column is our division, not a figure any operator publishes, and it compares like with like where we can: the aquarium’s annual pass against its own Gold single ticket, Wild Wadi’s against its own resident day rate. Where an operator does not publish a single-visit price, we have left the cell empty rather than reach for one.
The one that actually works
The Dubai Aquarium annual pass at AED 500 is cheaper than two Gold visits at AED 269 each, and it is not close on inclusions either. Emaar publishes what comes with it: unlimited entry with no block-out dates, one free animal encounter on the first visit, 50% off encounters after that, and 25% off entry for up to four accompanying people. The child pass is AED 400, and the terms state the adult rate applies from 12 years and above.
Its 90-day Gold season pass at AED 349 is sharper still if your trip is short: it pays back on the second visit. Both are published as having no block-out dates.
Read the cheap tier twice
Two operators sell an entry-level annual pass that is restricted on the days people most want:
- Wild Wadi Silver, AED 495 — its own comparison table marks validity during public holidays as “Not Valid”. Gold and Platinum are valid. So the cheapest annual pass excludes exactly the days a resident family has free.
- Dubai Parks Silver tiers — these include blackout days and then charge AED 50 per day to enter on them, with the operator noting “blackout dates are subject to change”. Only the multi-park Gold at AED 1,195 is described as “365 days unlimited access – no blackout dates”.
And one to read very carefully: IMG Worlds’ AED 765 annual pass lists only discounts — 20% off fast track, food, retail, photos, the arcade — and its page never states that park entry is included. It also cannot be bought online: the operator says to buy it “at the IMG Worlds of Adventure ticket counter”.
Who publishes no annual pass at all
Four of Dubai’s best-known attractions sell nothing of the kind. Burj Khalifa / At the Top publishes a full catalogue of day tickets and packages and no repeat-visit product. Dubai Frame publishes its whole fee table and no pass. The Green Planet sells day, premium and VIP tickets only — though it appears inside Dubai Parks’ own multi-park tiers. Ski Dubai has no annual or season product, only a one-month slope membership at AED 1,250.
Museum of the Future sells no tickets at all: it is temporarily closed.
Operator bundles, and the same bundle at two prices
Emaar sells combinations of its own attractions, and this is worth checking before buying two separate tickets: Dubai Aquarium + At the Top at AED 279, and Dubai Aquarium + Sky Views at AED 219.
But the identical Aquarium-plus-At-the-Top pairing is AED 279 on the aquarium’s site and AED 319 on the At the Top site — same operator, same two attractions, same day, AED 40 apart depending on which of its own pages you land on. Both are published. We have no way to tell you which one you will be charged, only that you should look at both.
