Why a closure is so easy to miss
Operators rarely put a closure where a visitor will trip over it. One publishes its closure window on the ticket page while the homepage carries no banner at all. Another suspends a transport link with a single line above a timetable that still lists every departure. A third keeps selling tickets for a park whose gates are shut. None of that is deception — it is just what happens when a notice is added to one page and not the rest.
The practical consequence is that a booking page working normally is not evidence that a venue is open. Where an operator publishes no reopening date, this site says so rather than guessing at one, because a date invented to look helpful is the thing that actually wastes a journey.
How this page is kept honest
A closure page is only worth reading if it is also right when a venue reopens. These entries are re-checked against the operator’s own site, and the two with dated windows — a seasonal park due back in September and a season park returning in October — are written to stay true either side of those dates.
