Expo City Dubai: what the operator prices, and what it leaves blank
Expo City publishes no general admission ticket. Three of its attractions — Surreal, Al Wasl Plaza and the Expo City Mosque — are marked simply “Free”. The Vision Pavilion publishes “Adult (12+): 75”, free for twelve-and-under and for people of determination. Terra now publishes Adult 100 and Child (4+) 80, set in the site’s UAE dirham symbol font (it showed only a “$$” glyph when we first checked). And the operator’s own FAQ asks “Will visitors need tickets enter Expo City Dubai?” — its typo, not ours — then serves the answer only in JavaScript, so the question that most needs answering is the one a plain reader cannot see.

Four separate documentation failures on one site: a price replaced by a glyph, a combo page with no content, an attraction missing from its own index, and a headline that still says Expo 2020 nearly five years after the Expo closed. They go in the catalogue.
Hours and parking, now in the FAQ
Re-read on 2 October 2026, the operator’s Plan Your Visit FAQ now answers in plain text: attractions run 10:00–18:00, last entry 17:15; Al Wasl Plaza, Jubilee Park, Al Forsan Park and Surreal are open 24/7; the districts are car-free. On parking it gives two numbers — around 9,500 bays in four zones in one paragraph, more than 20,000 spaces in the FAQ — and we publish both.
Getting there, and the page that never updated
Expo City sits at the end of the Red Line’s Route 2020 branch. RTA’s own Route 2020 page still describes Expo 2020 as “upcoming” — an authority page written before an event that has been over since March 2022, still live.
