What it costs to walk into a Dubai park
Dubai’s big municipal parks are not free. Entry runs from AED 3 to AED 5 on foot, and Al Mamzar Beach Park charges AED 30 for a car. The awkward part is where those figures live: Dubai Municipality publishes no fee list anywhere on its own website. The only place the prices appear is inside its ticketing kiosk application.

Children up to two enter free everywhere, and a child must be accompanied by an adult. Al Mamzar also runs a ladies’ day on Mondays and Wednesdays, and its swimming pool is priced separately at AED 10 for an adult and AED 5 for a child.
Inside Creek Park, Children’s City is ticketed on its own: AED 15 adult, AED 10 for a child of two to fifteen, or AED 40 for a family of two adults and two children. Inside Zabeel Park, the Dubai Frame is also separate at AED 50 and AED 20 — and nobody publishes whether a Frame ticket covers the Zabeel Park gate fee, which is the one thing a visitor arriving at Gate 4 would want to know.
Where these figures come from
This is worth being explicit about, because it is unusual. Dubai Municipality’s own site carries no park fee schedule: its parks section says only that there are “more than 190 parks distributed in Dubai” and hands off to a separate parks portal, which is a JavaScript application that publishes no prices in readable form.
The fees above are published by the municipality’s own ticketing kiosk system — the point of sale at the gates, reachable from that portal. It is the operator’s own channel, so we treat it as a published price, the same way we treat a restaurant’s own ordering page. But it means that a resident who wants to know what a park costs has no page to read. There is also an Arabic municipality PDF on public parks that we could not open; if it contains a fuller fee table, this page will be updated.
One consequence: we cannot tell you which Dubai parks are free. The municipality publishes no such list, and the absence of a park from the ticketing system is not a statement that it costs nothing. Al Barsha Pond Park, for instance, has no ticketing entry and no published fee or hours at all.
People of Determination
The municipality states this plainly, and it is one of the clearest concessions published by any Dubai operator: “People of Determinations are exempted from admission fees in our parks, museums, and destinations (Dubai Frame, Children city, Dubai Safari Park, Ras Al Khor Sanctuary) – Upon presenting of a valid POD card.”
The companion allowance differs by venue, which the central statement does not mention: the Dubai Frame admits two companions free, Dubai Safari Park admits one.
Dubai Safari Park is closed until October
Dubai Safari Park runs a season and is shut right now. Its own site says “Season Closed” and “We can’t wait to welcome you back for Season 8 in October 2026”; its ticket page adds that “all current ticket sales are temporarily unavailable until Season 8 opens” and that Season 8 tickets arrive in October. No Season 8 price is published, and no opening date beyond the month.
For reference, its last published season priced a Safari Park Pass at AED 50 and a Safari Bundle with a guided tour at AED 117, with under-threes free. Those are last season’s figures and we are labelling them as such rather than presenting them as what you will pay in October.
Ras Al Khor, where the fee is implied but never stated
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary opens 07:30–17:30 from October to March and 06:00–18:00 from April to September, with walk-in registration and a strict limit of fifteen people at a time inside the hide. No phones, pets, food, drink or smoking in there.
Its entry fee is the odd one out: no amount is published anywhere, yet the municipality’s People of Determination page lists Ras Al Khor among the destinations where admission fees are waived — which implies a fee exists. We can tell you it is implied and that its size is not published.
