What it costs to walk into a Dubai park
Most of Dubai’s big municipal parks are not free. Entry runs from AED 3 to AED 5 on foot, Mushrif charges AED 10 for a car and Al Mamzar Beach Park AED 30; Quranic Park is listed as free. Dubai Municipality’s own website still carries no fee list: the prices and gate hours are published on its separate public parks portal and its booking calendar.

Children under two enter free everywhere, and a child must be accompanied by an adult. Al Mamzar also runs a ladies’ day on Mondays and Wednesdays, and its swimming pool is priced separately at AED 10 for an adult and AED 5 for a child.
Inside Creek Park, Children’s City is ticketed on its own: AED 15 adult, AED 10 for a child of two to fifteen, or AED 40 for a family of two adults and two children. Inside Zabeel Park, the Dubai Frame is also separate at AED 50 and AED 20 — and nobody publishes whether a Frame ticket covers the Zabeel Park gate fee, which is the one thing a visitor arriving at Gate 4 would want to know.
Where these figures come from
Dubai Municipality’s own site still carries no park fee schedule: its parks section says only that there are “more than 190 parks distributed in Dubai” and hands off to a separate parks portal. That portal now prints each park’s per-person price on its homepage and the full admission list, gates and services on each park’s page, so the fees above can be read there directly.
The gate hours come from the same portal’s booking calendar. A park page shows only the current day’s timing; the calendar, read on 30 September 2026, shows the same times on every date from October 2026 to March 2027: later on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and earlier openings at Al Mamzar (06:00) and Mushrif (07:00). No public-holiday or Ramadan timings are published.
One consequence: we cannot tell you which Dubai parks are free. Quranic Park is the only one the portal lists as free, the municipality publishes no wider list, and the absence of a park from the ticketing system is not a statement that it costs nothing. Al Barsha Pond Park, for instance, has no ticketing entry and no published fee or hours at all.
People of Determination
The municipality states this plainly, and it is one of the clearest concessions published by any Dubai operator: “People of Determinations are exempted from admission fees in our parks, museums, and destinations (Dubai Frame, Children city, Dubai Safari Park, Ras Al Khor Sanctuary) – Upon presenting of a valid POD card.”
The companion allowance differs by venue, which the central statement does not mention: the Dubai Frame admits two companions free, Dubai Safari Park admits one.
Dubai Safari Park reopened on 12 October
Dubai Safari Park runs a season. Its homepage announced it “Opens Monday 12 October 2026 at 9:00 AM”, open daily 9:00am–6:00pm with last entry at 5:00pm, and online tickets are on sale: the Safari Park Pass at AED 50 and the Safari Bundle, adding the 35-minute Explorer Safari Tour, at AED 117. Children under 3 and People of Determination enter free. These are the same two prices as last season.
Ras Al Khor, where the fee is implied but never stated
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary takes walk-in visitors at its bird hides, and Dubai Municipality publishes no opening and closing times for them anywhere on its Protected Areas pages. Its only wording on timing is that families and individuals “can walk-in any time during the opening hours” — the hours themselves are never given. No phones, pets, food, drink or smoking inside the hide.
Its entry fee is the odd one out: no amount is published anywhere, yet the municipality’s People of Determination page lists Ras Al Khor among the destinations where admission fees are waived — which implies a fee exists. We can tell you it is implied and that its size is not published.
