The Dubai Fountain: Show Times, Free Viewing, Boat Prices

Emaar publishes two sets of Dubai Fountain shows on Burj Lake beside Dubai Mall: afternoon shows at 13:00 and 13:30 Saturday to Thursday (14:00 and 14:30 on Friday), and evening shows daily from 18:00 to 23:00 at 30-minute intervals. Emaar states you can "enjoy Dubai Fountain free of charge from the promenade".

For a closer view, Emaar sells the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk — a floating walkway bringing you within 9 metres of the show — for AED 25, and the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride, a traditional wooden abra across Burj Lake, for AED 75. Both run 17:45–22:45 and Emaar says tickets "are available at the fountain or can be booked online in advance".

The Dubai Fountain — frequently asked questions

What time does the Dubai Fountain show start?

Emaar publishes evening shows daily from 18:00 to 23:00 at 30-minute intervals, plus afternoon shows at 13:00 and 13:30 Saturday to Thursday and at 14:00 and 14:30 on Friday. The Dubai Mall listing for the fountain gives the evening block only and ends it at 23:30; the times here follow Emaar's own fountain page.

Are there daytime Dubai Fountain shows?

Yes. Emaar's own page lists afternoon shows at 13:00 and 13:30 from Saturday to Thursday, and at 14:00 and 14:30 on Friday, in addition to the evening programme.

Is the Dubai Fountain free to watch?

Yes. Emaar's own Dubai Fountain page states that you can enjoy the fountain free of charge from the promenade. Paid options only apply if you want the Boardwalk (AED 25) or the Lake Ride boat trip (AED 75).

How much is the Dubai Fountain boat ride?

The official Dubai Fountain Lake Ride costs AED 75 per person and operates 17:45–22:45. It is a traditional wooden abra that glides across Burj Lake as the fountains run. Emaar sells it on its own ticketing site and also at the fountain itself.

What is the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk and how much does it cost?

Emaar describes it as a floating walkway at the base of Burj Khalifa along the lake's edge that brings you within 9 metres of the show. It is priced at AED 25, runs 17:45–22:45, and is sold on the same official Emaar platform as the Lake Ride.

Where is the best free place to watch the Dubai Fountain?

The promenade along Dubai Mall's waterfront exit and the walkway on the Souk Al Bahar side of Burj Lake are both free public vantage points; the operator does not publish a ranked list of viewing spots.

How often does the Dubai Fountain perform?

Every 30 minutes during Emaar's published evening window of 18:00 to 23:00, daily, plus two fixed afternoon shows each day.

Where can I read reviews of The Dubai Fountain?

Not here. This page publishes what the operator publishes about itself — hours, prices, contact details, and where it publishes none of those, that too — and no opinions, ratings or reviews of any kind. For what visitors say, the venue’s own Google Maps listing carries reviews from people who have actually been. Our editorial policy explains why we keep the two apart.

Is Dubai Fountains the same as The Dubai Fountain?

Yes. The Dubai Fountain is also written as Dubai Fountains. They all refer to the same venue described on this page.

When were these The Dubai Fountain details last checked?

Every opening time, price and contact detail on this page was checked against The Dubai Fountain’s own published sources on 3 September 2026. The sources used are listed at the foot of the page, and where the venue publishes nothing we say so rather than filling the gap. If something here is out of date, tell us — we re-check it against the venue’s own source and record the change in our corrections log.
