Mall of the Emirates Parking and Opening Hours

Often, yes. Weekend parking is free, according to Majid Al Futtaim's own site, and on weekdays Parkin's own fee schedule for the mall gives the first 4 hours free. Charges start only once a Monday-to-Friday stay passes 4 hours.

Two official tables, which mostly agree. Mall of the Emirates' own parking page: the first 4 hours free, then AED 20 for 4-5 hours, AED 40 for 5-6, AED 60 for 6-7, AED 80 for 7-8 and AED 150 for 8 hours or more, free at weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Parkin, which runs the car park, prints the same bands Monday to Friday except 7-8 hours at AED 100. For overnight, the mall says it is prohibited and charged AED 200 per day; Parkin lists AED 350. We print both because both are official.

Parkin's mall parking FAQ says that if you are away for less than 60 minutes, your two stays are added together and charged as one. If you stay away for more than 60 minutes, the earlier session is excluded and the clock starts again.

No — both sources discourage it, with different figures. The mall's own page says "Overnight parking is prohibited: AED 200 per day"; Parkin's fee table lists Overnight at AED 350 and its FAQ says overnight parking is not permitted. We cannot tell you which charge applies.

It is ticketless and barrier-free: cameras read your number plate at entry and exit through the Parkin system. Any fee owed is sent to you by SMS with a payment link, or can be paid through the Parkin app, by debit/credit card, or Apple Pay.
