Your first time in Dubai, priced from the operators’ own pages
A first visit converges on the same short list almost everywhere you read about it. What almost nobody publishes beside that list is what each item costs and when it closes. Here is that list with both, taken from each operator’s own site — and the three entries where the honest answer is that the operator publishes no price at all.
Seven places, eight rows
Burj Khalifa takes two rows because it sells two very different tickets under one name, which is the first thing a first-time visitor gets wrong about it.

Two of those rows are the interesting ones. The traditional Creek abra is AED 1, cash only — the newer air-conditioned routes are AED 2 and take nol — and it is the cheapest thing anyone charges for on this page. The fountain is free, and Emaar says so in as many words. A first trip does not have to be expensive to be complete.
What the famous names do not publish
Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Royal and the Museum of the Future publish no visitor price on their own sites. For the first two that is because there is no general admission to buy — you are a hotel or restaurant guest or you are not. The Museum of the Future is a different case: it is temporarily closed, in its own words “as we prepare for our next chapter”, with no reopening date published. If a page quotes you a ticket price for it today, that price did not come from the museum.
Getting between them without a car
Everything above except the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk sits on or beside the Metro. RTA publishes station opening hours as 05:00–00:00 Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 05:00–01:00 Friday, and 08:00–00:00 Sunday — note the late Sunday start, which catches people out on a first weekend. RTA publishes those as station hours for all lines; it does not publish a last-train departure time per station, so plan the return leg against the closing time, not against a timetable that does not exist.
The gap the Metro does not close is Palm Jumeirah. The Tram reaches the base of the Palm, but the monorail that normally continues from there is suspended — the operator’s own homepage carried “temporarily suspended until further notice due to maintenance” on 4 September 2026. See which attractions are genuinely walkable from a station — several that are marketed as “on the Metro” are a 20-minute walk in 40 °C.
When you come changes what is open
Global Village and Miracle Garden both run on a published season. Global Village is closed between seasons and lists its next one only as “Oct 2026 - May 2027”, with no exact opening date. Miracle Garden is the awkward one: its FAQ says the garden “operates seasonally… from late September or October through April or May” and “closes during summer”, while its own visitor-information page says the season is “open year-round”. Both are published by the same operator on the same website, so we quote both. Six venues on this site run on a published season, and Miracle Garden is the one that contradicts itself. If your trip falls between May and October, read that page before you build an itinerary around an outdoor attraction.
What a first day actually costs
Downtown, walking: the fountain is free in Emaar’s own words, and nobody publishes a charge for entering the mall or standing on the promenade — which is not the same as anyone publishing that they are free. Add the cheapest Burj Khalifa tier and you are at AED 189. Add lunch and the median main course across the 42 Dubai restaurants that publish a menu is on our restaurant price page.
