ICP is the federal identity and customs authority. GDRFA Dubai is the emirate’s residency directorate. Both publish an overstay fine for a visitor in Dubai, the figures differ by a factor of two, and neither page mentions that the other exists. One of them may be out of date; nothing on either page says which.
What follows from that is practical rather than academic. If you are budgeting, use the higher figure. If you are disputing a charge, the existence of two official figures is itself worth raising. How much is the overstay fine in Dubai?
It depends which authority you read. ICP publishes AED 50 per day. GDRFA Dubai publishes AED 100 per day plus AED 200 for an out pass. Both are official UAE sources describing the same offence, neither acknowledges the other, and we have no basis for choosing between them — so we publish both.
Is there a grace period before overstay fines start in Dubai?

Where do I pay a Dubai overstay fine?
